Maintenance Supervisor (2nd/3rd shift)

This position is located in our Specialty Materials Operation, supporting plants 4 and 5.??Responsibilities will include developing preventative maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff; participate in plant safety inspections; oversee repairs of breakdowns; oversee preventative maintenance; work with outside contractors; coordinate office moves and rearrangements; direct maintenance of equipment; maintain responsibility for maintenance of building.? This will be an off-shift position, supporting 2nd?or 3rd?shift.?


Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years leadership experience, or four years of Arconic experience.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. ?Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. ?Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience supervising in a manufacturing environment, preferably a maintenance department.
  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • Experience with TPM, Synchronous Mfg, and Kaizen Concepts.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, have good team building skills, excellent people skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, technically oriented.
  • Must be energetic and a self-starter, able to promote and implement change, have good PC skills, good telephone skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to promote a continuous improvement atmosphere.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
