Microsoft Windows Server System Administrator

The Microsoft Windows Server System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.    This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation and improvement within the I.T. infrastructure.      This individual will support server hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related infrastructure including Virtual Machines, storage technologies, hyper-converged servers, and backup and recovery optimization.   This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the planning and implementation phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development to meet project requirements; technical analysis and design; and performance of ongoing operations functions in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on research includes the transition of projects from evaluation to production.   This individual is accountable for Microsoft Windows Server-based systems that support a 24x7 manufacturing environment: Responsibilities on these systems include SA engineering and provisioning, operations and support, system security, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation.  Knowledge of related technologies including SQL database and Cisco networking in a manufacturing environment is a plus.  Experience in developing high-availability server configurations for production manufacturing operations is desirable.    This position will be on call 24/7.  Preferred location for this position is in Whitehall, however, may consider other US Arconic locations. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in computer science, computer information system, or computer engineering. Minimum 3 years' experience with Microsoft Windows Server, VMWare, and Storage Area Network. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.  ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Self-starter capable of managing projects within set budget and time frame. Ideal candidate is a person accustomed to keeping up-to-date on IT industry trends and associated best practices.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
