Director of Strategy & Business Initiatives

Job Description The successful candidate will directly support the Business Unit President by managing the development process and execution of business unit strategy.   This role will serve as the primary responsible SPA to coordinate, prepare, and deliver updates on business unit initiatives to Group Executives.   Serves as main interface with Investor Relations group in NYC, preparing and responding to all requests, inquiries, and reporting.   Responsible to coordinate all standard reporting for the BU for Arconic and EPS initiatives as Earnings Sustainability Program, Degrees, of Implementation and other similar programs.   Lead review meetings to verify and refine presentations in preparation for BUP review. May lead presentations at request of BUP.   Lead all external and internal executive and customer visit planning including strategy, agenda, and presentation development. Coordinate customer visits and prepare presentations with internal BU teams.   Communicates with senior executives to make strategic decisions for BU and supports or leads development of selected courses of action.   Additional Responsibilities o         Supports various BU leads in developing specific business plans and strategies; supports BU annual planning process. o         Coordinates with EPS Leadership to align BU strategy with the overall Arconic and EPS strategy and plan(s). o         Supports BUP by coordinating, preparing, and leading strategy or planning sessions to address business needs and developments. o         Provides leadership to projects that are cross-organizational and strategic in nature. o         Helps evaluate/re-evaluate ongoing initiatives and recommend corrective action. o         Leads and works on multiple work streams and manages projects while providing clear thinking and hands-on guidance to cross functional team members in a collaborative work environment. o         Must display passion for executing deliverables and programs that are of the highest quality and fully sport the company's strategy and are in line with leadership expectations.   Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university. Minimum 7 years of experience with large-scale project management, strategic planning, and/or consulting Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Preferred Qualifications MBA from an accredited university A strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute logical analysis to drive toward key decisions. Experience coordinating and leading strategy sessions. Expert power point and presentation development skills. Highly developed verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to tailor messaging for various audiences and stakeholders Ability to function effectively and influence the highest levels of leadership within the organization. Ability to manage multiple strategy projects in a fast paced, intense, results-oriented environment. Self-starter comfortable with uncertainty and willingness to take risks. Understanding of new products/technologies/industries desirable (additive manufacturing, composite materials). Strong leadership skills - team building, mentoring, and managing diverse and virtual teams.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
