Maintenance Coordinator

This opening is with Arconic Engines - Whitehall Operations, a division of Arconic Inc.- a world leader in the investment casting of superalloys, aluminum, and titanium, primarily for jet aircraft and industrial gas turbine markets. This position will be located in our Plant 4 facility in Whitehall, MI.

?Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Arranges for maintenance to be completed to minimize downtime of equipment and ensure all parts, supplies and tools are available.
  • Determines part requirements for planned jobs.
  • Arranges for special tools and equipment as needed.
  • Provides detailed job planning instructions.
  • Provides necessary drawings for jobs and ensures they are continually kept current.
  • Coordinates equipment downtime with production and keeps production informed of job progress.
  • Ensures accuracy of equipment Bill of Materials.
  • Establishes equipment numbering of all equipment.
  • Develops and maintains preventative maintenance on each piece of equipment.
  • Schedules preventative maintenance work within plant.
  • Sets up job kitting.


Basic Requirements:?

  • Minimum of an Associate degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of one-year related experience such as preventative maintenance, inventory control, or production planning
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.? Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.? Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.

?Preferred Qualifications:?

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • PC literate in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to read mechanical prints and electrical prints.
  • Strong organizational skills


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
