Job description Seeking A Special Needs Caregiver In Whitehall - FULL TIME OR PART TIME AVAILABLE Looking for an individual to provide one on one assistance to a child with special needs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Include child in aspects of daily living with family & siblings - Light housekeeping - Daily tasks -organizing, dressing - Encourage and supervise play, activity and movement - Personal care, bathing, toileting - Assist with eating, and preparing light meals - Document eating habits and medication Must be 18 years or older, pass back ground check, have ability to work independently, while working within a team as well, have good communication skills, work compassionately, display sensitivity, provide discretion, be physically fit, able to lift children into their bed/chairs and be flexible with work schedule.
Holidays paid at time and a half.
Worker characteristics:
- Must be reliable, have reliable transportation and willing to be flexible with scheduling - Positive, can-do, attitude and genuine interest in caring for others - Thoughtful, creative and willing to carry out fun activities like swimming, playing on trampoline, golf cart rides, bike rides, etc.
